ABOUT THE AUTHOR

The first creative inspiration into my photography was the birth of my son. I still have the very first photo of him, that precious first born in his birthday suit, I thought it was a forever photograph. I would go on to take many more over the years, right up to be the photographer at his first wedding, and hundreds more of my grandkids.
I would go on to catch the most amazing cloud formation, starting with the first inspiration after church and looking up and seeing a gigantic heart shaped cloud, as time went on, I would catch the Easter Bunny, Snoopy, on his doghouse, Falkor the dragon, and many more. Photographing when the seasons change and the leaves turn a bright beautiful shade of red, green, yellow.
My painting inspired creations started while attending UNM the
University of New Mexico back in 2013. I started to paint a red rose when it transformed into what is now the cover for my poetry book, titled “Turmoil” representing the pain of experiencing trauma of Domestic abuse and more.
My book of memoirs are inspired by incredible remembrance going as far back as being in the playpen. The cover was inspired by one word describe by the military “Foxhole” which was the original title, but the more I remembered, the more I realized today through self-analytical awareness is that I am what is called an “Empath.” Although much too young to understand those special gifts and abilities.
My strong intuitive senses is how I survived from age 9 to age 16, when I ended up married to a man nine years older. My poetry was my to escape my loneliness, and disconnection from my family, and the non-acceptance from his mother and sister My cover for my memoirs was inspired by my remembrance of what it was like to live in a family of six, and two alcoholic parents who were pretty much drunk twenty-four seven, and a father who was a seven-time decorated veteran with PTSD, a depressed absentee father reliving his wrongful treatment by the military.
